Machine Face Wheel Repairs

Why Replace Machined Faced Rims When You Can Repair Them?

Machine Face Wheel Repairs

A machine finish is achieved on a wheel by the wheel’s entire face being cut, flattening and polishing the surface of the rim. This provides a high shine finish. You can tell if your wheel is machine finish, as this process leaves tiny concentric lines in the finish making it look somewhat like a CD.

Our mobile service expertly repairs machine-faced wheels, addressing curb damage and gouges through a meticulous process of sanding, filling, and a specialised mix of painting and polishing to closely mimic the original high-shine, finely-lined finish. Achieving a factory-like finish typically involves a costly and time-consuming CNC machine recut, but Rim Jobs offers a smart, cost-effective alternative that approximates the original look while protecting against corrosion with a clear-coat sealant. Customers praise our exceptional repair quality, noting their wheels return nearly indistinguishable from new.
